Buying from the studio: prices, availability, copyright and liability.
Prices and currency
Prices are in AED and include VAT where it applies. Shipping is quoted separately, from your delivery address — see Shipping. The price of a piece can change at any time, but the price you were shown when you ordered is the price you pay.
Placing an order
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when payment clears and the studio sends the confirmation email. Until then nothing is reserved.
Originals are one of one
There is a single copy of every original. If two orders arrive for the same piece, the one that pays first stands and the other is refunded in full, immediately.
Prints
Prints are produced to order on 300 gsm satin stock at the artwork's own proportions. Colour on paper is not colour on a screen, and small variations between one print run and another are part of the medium rather than a fault.
Copyright and what you may do with the work
Copyright stays with the artist. Buying an original or a print gives you the object and the right to display it, including in your own home or business. It does not give you the right to reproduce it, print it, sell copies of it, or use it commercially. The licence issued with every purchase says exactly this, in the same words, and is filed with your order.
Paperwork
Every paid order is issued an invoice, and every artwork in it a certificate of authenticity, an ownership record and a licence. Certificates carry a code anyone can check at verify a certificate without seeing who owns the work.
Delivery and risk
Risk passes on delivery. Damage in transit is the studio's to put right — see Returns & Refunds.
Liability
The studio's liability for any order is limited to what was paid for it. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
